ABOUT THE TRAINER
Amy Collini (formerly Flanigan) is a lifelong animal lover whose goal is to assist dog owners in finding gentle training solutions for their pets. After working for area vet hospitals teaching group classes, she began Civil Obedience Dog Training in 2002.
Amy works closely with the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine's behavior department as well as multiple area veterinarians to assist pet owners in both manners training and behavior modification for serious problem behaviors.
Amy graduated summa cum laude with a BA in English from Otterbein College. Her dog training experience
includes competitive obedience, agility, conformation, therapy work and tracking; she is an AKC-licensed Rally Obedience judge. She has given training seminars at the national and local levels to pet owners and show dog exhibitors, and has written on dog behavior and training for national and local publications. Her Scottish Terriers have been ranked nationally in obedience, agility and conformation. She is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (#63712).
